AdventHealth launches coronavirus information hotline

ORLANDO, Fla. — AdventHealth launched a new coronavirus information hotline Tuesday to he answer questions and ease some concerns.

The hotline is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and serves as a one-stop shop to connect Floridians with resources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Florida Department of Health.

AdventHealth said the line isn’t meant to get rid of the doctor/patient relationship and is to serve as additional help instead.

Although the hotline is new, the call center where the line is housed has been around for years.

The information line is currently limited to Florida, but the organization plans to expand the service in upcoming weeks to all communities where AdventHealth provides services.

The number for the coronavirus line is 877-847-8747.
