The increases come as local and national health officials have reported increases in the number of COVID-19 cases among children.

The Orange County Department of Health said 1 in 10 children, ages 5 to 14, is currently testing positive for COVID-19. And the American Academy of Pediatrics said children account for roughly 13% of the total cases of COVID-19 in the United States.
