Florida secures 15K doses of Regeneron monoclonal antibody treatment

Florida will receive half of the 30,000 doses of the Regeneron monoclonal antibody treatment that it requested from the federal government, Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office announced Friday.

The governor’s office said the 15,000 doses will be used to support new monoclonal antibody sites in the state. DeSantis hasn’t said where those sites will be located.

DeSantis is urging the federal government to allow states to directly secure doses of the treatment, without having to make requests through federal officials.
