Florida woman wins $1 million jackpots on slot machine twice in a month

TAMPA, Fla. — Winning a $1 million jackpot on a slot machine seems like a once-in-a-lifetime kind of luck. But not for one extra-lucky Florida woman.

A Clearwater woman, identified by casino officials only by her first name, Gloria, won a $1.2 million jackpot on the Dragon Link slot machine at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa on Dec. 22.

On Jan. 9, just 18 days later, she won $1 million playing the same progressive slot game.

Casino officials said that marked the third $1 million jackpot to hit on the Dragon Link slot game at a Seminole property in less than 60 days.
