What if my condition requires immediate treatment?
If you need immediate treatment, do not use InQuickER. Go directly to the emergency room or call 911.
How can you schedule ER treatment? Isn't the ER based on triage?
All emergency departments use a triage system to evaluate incoming patients. As a result, patients with low-acuity symptoms may experience a longer wait while patients with higher-acuity symptoms receive priority treatment. InQuickER allows patients with lower-acuity symptoms to wait at home, rather than in the waiting room.
Patients who use InQuickER wait just as long (or longer) to be seen as other patients; InQuickER does not shorten the wait time, it simply allows prospective patients to wait at home or at another location before coming in to the ER.
What if a more urgent patient arrives at my projected treatment time?
