KISSIMMEE, Fla. — One person was injured Friday after a pair of homes caught fire on Silver Lake Drive in Kissimmee, Osceola County Fire Rescue said.
The homes could be seen burning next to each other while one of the owners did his best to extinguish the growing blazes with a garden hose while waiting for firefighters to arrive.
The fire was reported at about 5:30 p.m.
The injured individual, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
No other information was immediately released on the fire.
