10 arrested after DEA drug sweep in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Local and federal agents said they’re taking cocaine, pills and more than a dozen drug dealers off the streets.

The Drug Enforcement Administration sweep landed at least 10 suspects in the Orange County Jail.

Several of the defendants in the case are facing trafficking charges accusing them of selling oxycodone, but the operation led the FBI to another operation for cocaine.

Condrey Dennison and Willie Dennison were picked up Thursday morning in the DEA and FBI sweep through south Apopka and were booked in to the Orange County Jail before noon.

Investigators said Willie Dennison was the main target in the multagency, multimonth investigation which is being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.

At least eight other people in the Apopka and Ocoee area with the same case number have also been booked into jail.

Their charges include trafficking opiates and conspiracy and accuse them of working together on a major crime enterprise.
