APOPKA, Fla. — The FBI Tampa Division announced it is now offering an additional $10,000 reward for information in the shooting death of 15-year-old Nykeria Simmons last year, bringing the total to $15,000.
Simmons was outside an Apopka gas station in March 2020 when she was shot and killed.
At the time, Apopka Police said Simmons was not the intended target and the shooting was part of an ongoing dispute.
Investigators said the suspects had been driving a stolen white Lincoln MKZ at the time of the shooting.
The FBI urges anyone with information to contact the FBI Tampa Field Office at (813) 253-1000, or Central Florida Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).
