St. Patrick’s Day at SeaWorld

Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy

An orchestra will bring the sounds of the hit video game “Final Fantasy” to life Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Click here for tickets and details.

Trachtenfest

Break out the lederhosen or dirndl and head to Trachtenfest Saturday at the German American Society of Central Florida in Casselberry, 381 Orange Lane. Click here for details.

Orlando Gay Chorus

Orlando Gay Chorus will be live in concert Saturday at 8 p.m. at First Unitarian Church of Orlando, 1901 E. Robinson St. It is the fourth concert that’s part of The Milk District Salon at 1U. Tickets are now $27. Click here for more info.

Movie Trash at the Nook

It’s Oscars season, but if you’re not in the mood for prestige pictures, The Nook on Robinson is hosting its regular event Movie Trash at The Nook on Saturday at 8 p.m. This weekend’s movie is the notorious John Travolta film “Battlefield Earth,” which has an abysmal 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

An Evening with Leslie Odom, Jr.

Academy Award-nominated actor and musician Leslie Odom Jr., whose film credits include “Hamilton,” “Glass Onion” and the upcoming reboot of “The Exorcist,” will stop by the Dr. Phillips Center for An Evening with Leslie Odom, Jr. beginning at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Click here for details and tickets.

The Oscars

Don’t miss the 95th Academy Awards, airing this Sunday beginning at 8 p.m., with red carpet coverage before. Enzian, the independent theater in Maitland, will again host its Oscars Watch Party on the big screen. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. The event is free and seating is first come, first serve.
