ORLANDO, Fla. — Editor’s note: This story is available as a result of a content partnership between WFTV and the Orlando Business Journal.
Bank of America is closing some of its Orlando-area branches temporarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank shuttered nearly 40 locations due to the outbreak. The closures are temporary and are prompted for branches that either have low foot traffic and/or those that have lower staff levels, Bank of America spokesman Matthew Daily told Orlando Business Journal.
“As conditions change, we will adjust,” Daily said. There is no set timetable for the branches to reopen yet.
