Longwood police said video shows Longwood bar owner Jeffrey Roberson owner spiking the drink of a female employee.
On Tuesday the Roberson struck a deal with prosecutors to avoid jail time.
Roberson, who faced a possible 30 years in prison, agreed to five years of probation and mandatory counseling.
Police described the video as the "smoking gun" in the case.
Roberson pleaded no contest to dropping drugs into one of his employee's drinks.
According to prosecutors, the woman sent a text message to her boyfriend one night after having a few shots at the Shovelhead Bar in Longwood. She said she felt strange and thought her boss had drugged her. She called police and Roberson was arrested.
Police said surveillance from Roberson's own bar showed him removing something from his pocket and dumping it into drinks he made for the woman.
The woman and her family decided not to come to court Tuesday, but her mother spoke to Channel 9's Shannon Butler by phone.
"Do you think that was enough?" Butler asked the woman.
"A plea? As a mother, of course not. As a mother I would like to see him in jail, put far away from anyone else's daughter," the woman said.
The woman who worked in the bar did agree to plea deal. Her mother said her daughter did not want revenge, she just wants to move on.
"She's just one of those remarkable people that doesn't have a nasty, vindictive bone in her body," she said.
According to her mother, it was Roberson who put the camera up to keep an eye on what was going on inside his bar.
