ORLANDO, Fla. — A dog park and social venue near downtown Orlando is planning a music festival later this month designed for both dogs and their owners.
BarkHaven will host its first official “Barkchella” event on April 18, featuring live DJs, lights, a foam party and dog-friendly activities during an evening festival style event.
Organizers say the event will run from 5 p.m. until late and will transform the outdoor venue into a rave with music, bubbles and themed attractions for guests and pets.
The lineup includes performances by DJs CHYMERA and CHASENSPACE, along with food vendors, handmade jewelry, dog treats and specialty items such as dog ice cream.
BarkHaven manager Chase Bowden said the event builds on a similar concept tested earlier this year that drew strong turnout.
The venue opened in November 2025 and has quickly become known as a hybrid dog park, restaurant and nightlife gathering space in Orlando.
In addition to a supervised off-leash dog park, BarkHaven includes a full-service restaurant and bar, grooming facilities, fire pits, indoor games and event space.
The venue is located between Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village and Mills 50 District neighborhoods.
Organizers say dogs are welcome at Barkchella but not required for entry.
BarkHaven regularly hosts themed weekly events, including breed meetups, trivia-style social gatherings and late-night DJ programming on weekends.
More information about admission, memberships and event details is available through BarkHaven’s website.
