DEBARY, Fla. — A missing DeBary man's body was found in the St. Johns River Friday afternoon, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.
A man spotted the body of Walter Devon McKinnon, 42, shortly after 2 p.m. as the man fished on a dock at the Meadowlea on the River mobile-home park near Leisure World Drive South, said Gary Davidson, a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

McKinnon left his residence at the mobile-home park at 10:30 p.m. Sunday to visit a friend.
That friend told investigators McKinnon left his home at 11:30 p.m., promising to return shortly. But he never did.
McKinnon's death remains under investigation, Davidson said.
No other information was released.
