CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — NASA and SpaceX are targeting 11:10 a.m. EDT on Oct. 1 for the launch of the Crew-13 mission to the International Space Station. The mission will liftoff from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida using a SpaceX Falcon nine rocket and Dragon spacecraft.
Upon reaching orbit, the spacecraft is scheduled to dock at the forward-facing port of the space station’s Harmony module at approximately 8 p.m. on Oct. 1, less than 9 hours after launch.
The crew members will join Expedition 75 aboard the orbiting laboratory.

NASA astronaut Jessica Watkins will serve as spacecraft commander, with NASA astronaut Luke Delaney serving as pilot. Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov will serve as mission specialists.
Rules and health protocols require the crew to complete quarantine at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston before traveling to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Sept. 26.
Mission teams will conduct a series of operational reviews and prelaunch activities over the coming days to confirm readiness across the crew, space station, Dragon spacecraft and Falcon nine rocket.
The crew is scheduled to arrive at Kennedy Space Center on Sept. 26 to complete final launch preparations ahead of the Oct. 1 target date.
