Orlando motorcyclist run over, killed after performing stunt on I-95 in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a man was killed on Interstate 95 after he performed a motorcycle stunt and fell off his bike.

Just after 3 a.m. Wednesday, a 31-year-old Orlando man was traveling northbound on I-95.

Witnesses said the man stood up on the motorcycle seat and put his arms outwards, lost control of the bike and fell off.

A Chevy Equinox and a Hyundai Santa Fe were traveling behind the motorcyclist. Troopers said both vehicles ran the rider over.

Due to the condition of the rider, troopers said they believe other vehicles may have also run the man over.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
