MELBOURNE, Fla. — A person died after police said they were found shot at a Melbourne convenience store Thursday afternoon.
Officers said they found the person shot at the UMart located on E. University Boulevard.

Police said the person died after they were transported to a nearby hospital.
Police said they are not releasing the person’s name at this time.
The shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
