Former Titusville High School student, 16, accused of showing gun in school parking lot, police say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Police in Titusville are looking for a teen who they said was expelled from school, and then came back with a gun.

Police said the former student was in a car when he waved what appeared to be a gun on the Astronaut High School campus.

Police and school officials said the teen never pointed the gun at anyone, according to witnesses.

Titusville police spent Tuesday trying to locate the suspect.

“Any time you have a 16-year-old that is possessing and brandishing a firearm, it's dangerous,” said Titusville Police Department Chief John Lau.
