Brightline’s Orlando launch: WiFi, bathrooms, noise & more things you need to know

Brightline’s Orlando-to-Miami service kicked off Sept. 22, opening the door for a closer look at what life on the rails is like for travelers.

Several aspects of the train such as its amenities are touted on the services webpage, but Orlando Business Journal sent Editor-in-Chief Sean McCrory on the first train south — bright and early at 6:38 a.m. — as part of an in-depth report of the first intercity high-speed rail between Orlando and Miami. As such, McCrory took a look at some of the not-so-obvious features of the train that business travelers may be curious to know about.
