ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Neighbors said a car speeding through their Orange County neighborhood early Friday morning crashed through a brick wall before striking a truck and a home.
Lockhart neighbors said it happened around 2 a.m. on Rose Avenue and Brownell Street.

One neighbor said he saw two people hop out of the car after the crash, but when he yelled out to ask if they were OK, the people ran away.
He said three months ago another car crash sent a vehicle into his yard. After that, he said he started parking his truck against his home as a barrier between his bedroom, just in case it happened again.

He said he feels that’s what stopped the car from going right through his home.
