Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle show, Death Eaters return to Islands of Adventure for Halloween

ORLANDO, Fla. — As terror rages on at Halloween Horror Nights inside the gates of Universal Studios, magic is also taking a turn for the dark this fall next door at Islands of Adventure.

Universal Orlando Resort on Tuesday announced that Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle will return this Halloween season at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade. The “sinister spectacle” utilizes state-of-the-art projection mapping, special effects, lighting and more to bring the Harry Potter films to life on Hogwarts Castle.

The nighttime show runs select nights beginning Friday through Halloween from dusk until the park closes.

Guests in Hogsmeade will also come face-to-face with the Death Eaters, Voldermort’s devoted followers, as they eerily roam and lurk through Hogsmeade.

New Dark Arts-themed merchandise featuring the Dark Mark will also be available at The Wizard World, including mugs, hats, lanyards, tees and even Death Eater masks.
