This comes after the police chief served Razzles with an emergency suspension, citing a rise in violent crime connected to the establishment.

Leaders have been talking for months about ways to stop gun violence in the area of Seabreeze Boulevard, where the nightclub is.

Now, the club owners have eight new requirements that they have to meet immediately.

Owners said they’re already in compliance with four on that list, and they’ll have seven days to comply with the rest.

In the meantime, if police and special magistrate feel the requirements aren’t met, they will still have the authority to reverse the after hours permit again.

Razzle’s has been at the center of controversy in recent months. In July, police said a woman was able to walk through metal detectors and a bag search and bring a gun inside. She later shot and injured four people in the parking lot.

Two officers were hurt in the parking lot this past weekend when a drunk teenager backed into them trying to leave the bar. She also hit two pedestrians when she pulled forward.

In order to remain open past midnight, the bar has to make changes, including creating a new bag policy, additional training for employees and staffing parking lots.

Daytona Beach police said, so far this year, there have been 121 calls for service to the bar.
