Daytona Beach police investigate after gunfire erupts at beachside restaurant

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Police in Daytona Beach are looking for the person who opened fire at a beachside restaurant.


The shooting happened Monday night at the Cruisin’ Café Bar & Grill at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Main Street.

Officers said there were reports of five or six gunshots fired around 10 p.m., but no one was hurt.

Investigators are not releasing any information on a possible motive.
