WATCH: Intense video captures gunfire in deadly Orange County office complex shooting

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: The Orange County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a deadly shooting that happened last week at an Orange County office complex.


Deputies hope newly released surveillance video can help them identify the shooter.

On Monday, deputies released the video, which shows a man run up to the building and fire several rounds in the office, killing the victim.

You can see the glass shatter and fall to the ground before the shooter runs out of frame.

Gunshots can also be heard on the surveillance video.

Deputies identified the victim as 43-year-old Vinh Chung. Deputies have not released a motive for the shooting.

Deputies are investigating a shooting inside an Orange County office complex early Thursday.

Investigators say deputies were called to an office building near Courtland Street just after 9 p.m. for reports of shots being fired.

When deputies arrived at the scene they found a man in his 40s who had been shot multiple times.

The man, identified as Vinh Chung, 43, was then taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Witnesses said they saw a man dressed in all black run from the scene of the shooting and then get into a car and flee.

Neighbors said they heard the shots last night. Richard Thomas said everyone in his house got down, turned out the lights and locked the doors not knowing if the shots were being fired at their building.

The bullets actually hit the office building next door.

Court records show a man named Vinh Chung, with the same birthdate, has an extensive criminal record, with drug charges dating back to 1997.

The sheriff’s office wouldn’t confirm if the victim is the same Vinh Chung.

Detectives said the investigation is ongoing.
