• Deputies: Woman stole 2 dogs from St. Cloud home

ST. CLOUD, Fla. - A woman was arrested on charges of stealing two dogs from a home in St. Cloud.

Deputies said Nicole Moses, 29, was seen by a neighbor taking pictures of the home on Tuscaroa Avenue, and then going into the garage.

Moses was then seen by the neighbor taking a black Labrador and a pit bull out of the garage and drive away in a blue Ford Explorer, investigators said.

The homeowner called authorities after coming home and not finding the dogs.

A few days later, the homeowner said he found a note on his garage door that read, “Dogs found, neglected and abused...please text.”

Authorities said the victim texted the number and made arrangements to meet and provide money for the return of the dogs.

Deputies said they saw the blue Ford Explorer traveling in the area where the victim arranged to meet the culprit. Moses was pulled over and arrested, deputies said.

The dogs were in the car with Moses and were returned to the owner, investigators said.

Moses was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
