ORLANDO, Fla. — New numbers show a slowdown in e-bike injuries.

Orlando Health reported 13 patients each in August and September.

That is down from an average of nearly 18 patients a month from January through July.

Earlier this year, Orange County Public Schools banned e-bikes and scooters from elementary and middle schools.

Now, only high school students with a license or permit can ride them to campus.
