EUSTIS, Fla. — Eustis police are searching for a woman and a vehicle involved in a suspicious incident near Eustis Elementary School earlier this week.
According to the Eustis Police Department, the incident occurred on Sept. 15 shortly after school dismissal.
Investigators said a juvenile was riding a bicycle home from school when a woman inside a vehicle approached and began speaking to the child. The woman allegedly told the juvenile she was on the phone with the child’s father.
Police said the juvenile became suspicious and rode away. The vehicle then briefly followed the child before turning onto another street.
The woman was described as a Hispanic female in her mid-40s with black hair.
The vehicle is believed to be a black GMC Yukon XL, possibly a model year between 2015 and 2020.
