BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Falcon 9 booster that has launched twice returned to Port Canaveral early Tuesday.

The refurbished SpaceX booster returned to Port Canaveral aboard the autonomous drone ship nicknamed, "Of course, I still love you."

The booster made a historic flight last week when it successfully delivered a communications satellite into orbit at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The booster then successfully landed the drone ship after the flight.

“It’s amazing. We’re finally doing stuff like we’re doing as far as reusing it, saving costs,” said spectator Jeff Rothacher.

After last week's launch, SpaceX founder Elon Musk said a refurbished booster could make as many as a 100 trips.

The booster will remain at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station as a piece of space history.
