2 killed in fatal Volusia County crash identified

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — A fatal crash killed two people in Volusia County Saturday night.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a car veered off Reed Ellis Road in Deltona.

The car hit a tree and flipped.

The driver, 52-year-old William Pell, and the passenger, 32-year-old Tiffany Sams, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation Sunday morning.

Whether the crash was alcohol related is pending, according to a report.
