OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation said it plans to install more signs along a new interchange in Osceola County.
The diverging diamond interchange puts drivers on the left side of the road at ChampionsGate.
It is supposed to cut down on crashes and congestion.
On Monday, we saw about a dozen wrong-way drivers on the interchange.
FDOT said the new signs will show drivers where to stop.
The agency will continue to have troopers monitor the area as needed.
Leaders said that drivers really need to pay attention in the area.
The Florida Department of Transportation said that 68,000 people pass through the intersection daily.
