ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Starting Wednesday, FEMA’s main COVID-19 vaccination site at Valencia College’s west campus will drastically reduce the number of first doses it administers.
The site was giving out thousands of shots per day but it will now focus on administering second doses.
It will administer 500 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine per day.

The Valencia College’s west campus site will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
An appointment is not required at the FEMA sites. Florida residents can walk up to the site to receive their vaccine if they are eligible.

People 50 and older are eligible to receive the vaccine in Florida.

The federally-run pop-up sites will only offer second doses starting Wednesday.
