According to FHP, their initial investigation suggests the bicyclist rode into the southbound lanes of John Young Parkway when they were hit by the car.

The bike rider was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital and pronounced dead. Troopers say they’re still trying to confirm that person’s identity.

The Civic driver, identified only as a 27-year-old man from Kissimmee, and his passenger, were both taken to Advent health Kissimmee Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
