ORANGE COUNTY, Fla.,None — Guests at a hotel off International Drive are being allowed back into their rooms after they were evacuated following reports of an explosion Thursday morning.
Orange County Fire Rescue said guests at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites on International Drive reported hearing a loud explosion and then smelling gas.
Firefighters said a hot water heater blew up around 6:30 a.m.
No one was hurt and the damage was minimal.
