Months after the true impact of the COVID-19 reached Central Florida, local families are still struggling to pay bills and even buy food.
But on Thursday, one organization tried to lighten the load by offering a helping hand.

Hundreds of cars lined up bright and early Thursday morning for a food distribution site in Pine Hills organized by the United Foundation of Central Florida, which has been handing out food in the area for nearly three months.
“Some of these people that you see driving through here today they live in 200,000 dollars homes and they are not working right now,” said Sandra Fatmi-Hall, foundation executive director.
