Former Kissimmee officers accused of perjury take plea deals

Two former Kissimmee police officers charged with lying about a drug investigation will take plea deals.

It comes as the third former officer charged in the case gets ready for his trial next month.

One of the plea deals will require one of the former officers to testify in court if asked and he’ll get six months of probation.

According to the plea agreement, another former officer pleaded guilty to perjury and official misconduct.

Surveillance video surfaced showing three Kissimmee police officers walk into a room at the Tropicana Motel on West Vine Street in 2015.

The officers arrested Johnathan Elliott on drug charges.

Prosecutors ended up dropping those charges due to surveillance video that contracted what one of the officers said in court.

Prosecutors said Tiffany Hall insisted she went into the room alone, but video showed the three officers walking into the room.

The plea agreements, filed in Osceola County court this week, said Hall will spend a year on house arrest, four years on probation and will have to turn in her law enforcement certificate.

Another plea agreement shows former officer Taylor McFee who investigators said knew Hall lied in court will spend six months on probation, and will testify in court if he's called.

Documents show he'll plead guilty to a trespass charge.

Investigators said former detective Felix Echevarria is also seen in the surveillance video.

Prosecutors said text messages show he also knew Hall lied in court.

His case will go to trial next week.
