Full of hot air: Florida deputies respond to report of alligator in storage shed, find realistic pool float

Those worries deflated when deputies said they discovered that the large scaly creature was full of nothing but hot air.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy found the gator, but soon realized it was nothing but a realistic looking pool floatie.

“He came…he saw…he conquered the beast,” the department posted on Twitter Wednesday along with photos of the deputy and the inflated gator.
