The future of downtowns is at a pivot point & employers hold several critical cards

Richard Florida, the author, urbanist and futurist who recently spoke at our Future of Cities event, said American cities are no stranger to reinventing themselves.

And that’s a good thing, because a reinvention is in order for the post-Covid-19 world.

Cities around the nation continue to grapple with the consequences of the pandemic, which dealt a shock to the system for downtowns and central business districts built on the idea of the daily commute.
