Grab your umbrella: Storms to move in this afternoon, evening

ORLANDO, Fla. — If you are headed out and about Thursday, pack an umbrella.

Look for mostly cloudy skies over much of the area in the morning with a 60% chance of afternoon showers in the afternoon.

On Friday, expect lots of sun as a front moves across the area with cooler temperatures as we head into the weekend.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Karl will slowly move toward parts of Mexico.

Forecasts show Karl is still rotating over the Bay of Campeche in the southwest Gulf of Mexico with winds 60 mph.

The storm brings no threat to Florida.
