Habitat for Humanity thieves leave blood trail at scene

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police said thieves left key evidence at the scene of a crime.

The thieves broke into the Habitat for Humanity store on Orange Blossom Trail.

They took money from a safe, along with other items, totaling more than $7,000.

Detectives said the thieves cut themselves when they smashed their way into the store.

The thieves left behind a trail of blood that was collected for evidence, police said.
