The Nashville-based, for-profit health system submitted plans to the Orlando municipal planning board to build a new freestanding emergency room at 719 Peachtree Road, near the intersection of Interstate 4 and Colonial Drive.
The facility would be HCA’s closest one to downtown Orlando yet and would be between AdventHealth’s main campus to the north in Ivanhoe Village and Orlando Health’s main campus in South Downtown, known as SoDo. The property is in the downtown Orlando Community Redevelopment Area.
