Deputies said he’s now facing charges related to a fifth road rage shooting incident from December. According to the sheriff’s office, the victim in that case saw Bullard on the news and called detectives, saying “That’s the guy who shot at me!”

“What Mr. Bullard was doing was extremely dangerous,” Orange County Sheriff John Mina said at a press conference Thursday. “You’re shooting at people in our community…just by the grace of God, no one was struck by those bullets.”

Now facing 10 felony charges, Mina said he’s confident Bullard won’t be getting out a second time. The bond after his first arrest was set at just 350 dollars.

The sheriff said he thought it was a mistake to grant Bullard bond. He says he’s trying to work more closely with judges and prosecutors to make sure surprises like that don’t happen again.

“We are confident he won’t get out and cause more havoc in our community,” Mina said.

Only Channel 9 was there when Bullard bonded out of jail on his first charges just before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Bullard didn’t want to talk until our crew asked him what he had to say to his victims.

“Don’t (expletive) with me and I won’t (expletive) with you,” Bullard told the camera.
