Humid New Year’s Eve night, cloudy Sunday morning to follow

ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s a happy, humid new year, with temperatures around 70° for New Year’s Eve and humidity above 90% in many neighborhoods.

Meteorologist George Waldenberger said that while a stray sprinkle or light shower is possible, the evening generally looks quiet, with very calm winds and only a few people seeing raindrops.

Sunday’s weather will be mostly cloudy and foggy in the morning, and we should see some afternoon sun.

More 80s will follow for the first half of the first work week of 2023.

A stronger cold front will arrive by the end of next week.
