ORLANDO, Fla, — Channel 9 is sharing an inside look at Brightline’s brand-new train station at Orlando International Airport.

The Brightline station is located inside OIA’s new Terminal C.
The 37,000-square-foot space will open later this year and help connect travelers from Orlando to South Florida. Officials said trains will start running sometime this summer.
“This is our flagship station in Central Florida,” Brightline President Patrick Goddard said. “This is where millions of people are going to be able to board and get down to South Florida.”
There many amenities at the station for people to use.

Features at the Brightline station at OIA will include a lobby, baggage claim area, security area, kids’ play area and two lounges.

Every seat at Brightline’s “smart lounge” is equipped with plugs for charging mobile devices and phones.
Just outside of the station is a passenger loading area where Brightline trains pull up and riders can easily hop aboard.

Officials said Brightline will make 16 roundtrips between Orlando and Miami a day.
Tickets for future dates will go on sale next month with tickets starting at $79 each way to Miami and $149 for a premium ticket, which includes bigger seats, food and drinks.
