She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she died.
Deputies said Cohen has two daughters, ages 13 and 17, and that the 13-year-old was home at the time of the shooting, but not in the same room.
It’s not clear if she witnessed the gunfire.
Deputies said a 911 call was made from within the home to report a woman had been shot.

“We’re looking forward to the sheriff department to do a full investigation to find who this gun-toting, shooting coward might be,” said Cohen’s aunt, Francina Boykin.
Deputies obtained a search warrant for the home, and remained at the scene until the next morning to collect evidence.

"The only information that was revealed was that it's an ongoing death investigation at the time," said Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Deputy Ingrid Tejada-Monforte. “We are doing everything, that’s why we’ve been here for many hours.”
She added that the community is safe and the scene is contained.

Tejada-Monforte said deputies are not searching for a gunman.

Family members said they're taking care of Cohen's children.

Deputies ask that anyone with information call the Sheriff's Office or Crimeline.
