VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators in Volusia County believe human remains found earlier this year are those of an Orange City man who disappeared more than a decade ago.
Leigh Abel Jr. was 78 years old when he disappeared in December of 2001.
Detectives do suspect foul play.
Officials are now waiting on additional DNA testing to confirm that it was Abel's remains that were found in Saint John's County.
