Janitor trapped for days inside Orange County Courthouse holding cell files lawsuit

ORLANDO, Fla. — A janitor who was trapped while cleaning a holding cell at the Orange County Courthouse is taking legal action.

72-year-old Libia Victoria Vargas de Dinas named “Allied Universal Technology Services” in the lawsuit.

It claims they were responsible for patrolling the building, but she wasn’t found by officers for three days.

She went without food and her medicine for diabetes.

She was also forced to drink water from part of a toilet.

The lawsuit is asking for damages in excess of $50,000.
