JSO: Missing 10-year-old boy found safe

Jacksonville, Fl — Update:

Jacksonville Police say 10-year-old Kylen Vereen has been found safe.

Original Story:

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to be on the lookout for a missing 10-year-old boy.

Patrol officers responded to the area of 10500 Conrad Drive, off Dunn Avenue and I-95, in reference to a missing child.

Kylen Vereen was last seen at approximately 12:30pm when he took out the trash. Efforts to locate the child have been unsuccessful.

Kylen is a white boy, 5′ and 60 lbs. He has green eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing a black vest, dark jeans and black, red and white shoes.

Anyone with information on Kylen’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500.
