Judge dismisses lawsuit over Florida’s migrant flights to Martha’s Vineyard

ORLANDO, Fla. — A circuit court judge has dismissed a lawsuit over Florida’s decision to fly dozens of migrants to the northeast.

In September, Florida flew about 50 people from Texas, to our state, and then to Martha’s Vineyard.

The lawsuit argued the Florida Department of Transportation and a contractor did not fully comply with public records requests related to those flights.

In her ruling, the judge said the plaintiff did not prove those documents had been withheld.
