KISS members attend grand opening of Rock and Brews restaurant in Oviedo

OVIEDO, Fla. — One of Oviedo's newest restaurants is officially open for business.

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of the legendary rock band KISS officially opened their new restaurant in Oviedo Tuesday called Rock and Brews.

To kick things off, they served free lunch to more than 100 veterans.

The duo is also vowing to help the Orlando Veteran Affairs Medical Center by donating $10,000.

"Remember the vets. Without them, none of us would have what we have, so we're here to celebrate them," said Stanley. "Please feel free to bring your kids. Yes, even your dogs. Come on in, enjoy it."

This is their first Rock and Brews restaurant on the East Coast, located on Red Bug Lake Road in Oviedo.
