LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lake County Animal Shelter is offering discounted pet adoptions throughout October in recognition of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.
The shelter said adoption fees will be 50% off from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31.
Each adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, a microchip and a personalized identification tag.
The shelter said the month-long promotion is aimed at helping more animals find permanent homes.
