Lake County deputies investigating possible murder-suicide at busy camping and RV park

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide at a busy camping and RV park.

It happened at the Wekiva Falls RV Park and Resort along Wekiva River Road, near the town of Sorrento.

People vacationing at the park said they saw deputies Sunday morning but didn’t want to be nosy or get involved.

The sheriff’s office hasn’t released what time they responded to the park.

Deputies said that it appears the two people who died knew each other and they may have been in a relationship at some point.

No other details were released by deputies.
